In the first partFotos de producto con IA: por qué muchas no sirven para vender – Parte Iwe saw why most AI-generated fashion images do not sell: they are not faithful to the real garment. The good news is that there is a solution. Embroidery, floaty fabrics or lace can be produced well. What you cannot do is expect them to come out well on their own, from one prompt and a single tool.
The solution is not a tool, it is judgement
They are resolved with judgement, knowing what to look at, and combining the right tools, because each one is good at different things: one composes better, another defines texture, another holds fidelity to the real garment. That is why the difference between a publishable result and a generic one is almost never about having one tool or another, they are all accessible. It is in judgement: knowing what to look at before calling an image good, and knowing which tool solves each thing.
What a professional looks at
A professional in this field does not see 'a nice photo'. They see whether the drape of that fabric is consistent with its real weight. They see whether the colour in the image is the colour of the garment or the one the screen decided, which in fashion are almost never the same. They see whether the embroidery repeats correctly, whether the seam is where it should be, whether that transparency is the one in the sample. And above all they see whether the garment is recognisably the same from the front, from the back and in the detail, because a catalogue is not one image, it is thirty that have to hold up the same product. That judgement does not come from the tool, it comes from knowing the product.
Learn it or delegate it
Two paths lead out from here, and both are legitimate. Someone who works with their own product and wants to build in this judgement can learn it: not to press buttons, but to direct the tool with fashion judgement, what to ask for, what to correct, how to keep a whole catalogue consistent. That is what we teach in our Academy workshops.
Someone who needs the result without building that capability in-house can delegate it: producing a catalogue with AI while keeping fidelity to each garment is specialised work, and it is what we do in Studio. Studio.
The decision does not depend on budget, it depends on whether image production is a capability you want to hold in-house or a result you want to receive. What does not work is assuming that because the tool is accessible, the professional result is too. It is not. That is the distance between generating an image and selling with it.
